The test also received CE Marking on May 18, 2020. The test offers excellent performance, with 100% specificity and will be available from the end of May. Ortho's COVID-19 IgG antibody test detects the IgG antibody. The test can be used, among others, as part of back-to-work strategies and in serological surveys to understand rates of infection and immune response in the general population.
